The "refurbished by Siemens" approach consists of previously used Siemens automation products that have been professionally restored by Siemens to meet the same technical specifications and performance characteristics as when they were originally sold. Each device undergoes a standardized refurbishment process that includes technical repair, necessary hardware and software upgrades, visual restoration when required, and comprehensive quality testing in accordance with Siemens production standards and the manufacturer's specifications.
Siemens refurbished products do not undergo functional modifications or performance enhancements. They retain their original technical specifications and features, while meeting the safety, compliance, and cybersecurity requirements in effect at the time of their initial sale. A refurbished product is only offered for sale after it has successfully passed all Siemens functional and quality tests.
