The UPV offers a wide range of degrees and training in the field of metal machining. Within this range, it offers an introduction to CNC system configuration with a recognized diploma. Siemens is the supplier of SINUMERIK CNC controllers and CAD/CAM systems (generators of virtual design programs that the CNC can interpret). Through a Partnership Agreement, with activities such as Train-the-Trainer, Siemens will train university professors in CNC control technology and the application of CNC machine tools.

Siemens signs an agreement with the UPV to train teachers and students in Industry 4.0
Siemens and the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) today signed a collaboration agreement for training in Siemens' Computer Numerical Control (CNC) technology, SINUMERIK. This is the second agreement of its kind with a public university, following the collaboration agreement with the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM).
