A smart factory area will showcase the latest control and management software tools for Yamaha's True Total Line high-speed surface mount machines, including the YSP10 printer, the YSi-SP solder paste inspection system, the YSM20R assembly machines, and the YSi-V 3D AOI. The software demonstration will highlight the new Dashboard, which provides powerful and intuitive controls; the Image Viewer, which allows users to quickly retrieve any inspection or alignment image from each assembly for analysis; and the latest features for remotely controlling equipment, managing AOIs, and optimizing settings.
Within the smart factory area, autonomous guided vehicles will be featured in regular demonstrations throughout each day to show how materials can be moved efficiently and on time to where they are needed in the factory that communicates with the smart SMD tower, YST15.
In a separate area focusing on pick-and-place variation, the flexible hybrid multi-head Sigma G5S II and iPulse will demonstrate flexible capabilities to take on extreme challenges such as very high density assemblies and populated 3D substrates.
Complementing the advanced technology demonstrations, Yamaha's robotics area will showcase robotic electronics assembly processes that maximize flexibility and repeatability.
Visitors can also view a static display featuring Yamaha's innovative Niken, the world's first multi-wheeled production motorcycle, designed to provide greater confidence in challenging conditions and supporting the future-focused theme of the booth.
As always, Yamaha engineers and technical sales staff will be on hand throughout the event to explain new technologies and their competitive advantages for OEMs and assemblers. You can see everything at booth 323 in hall A3, from November 12-15, 2019.
