This device is ideal for controlling multiple white LEDs connected in series so that the current passing through the LEDs is uniform for good control of brightness and color.

The wide input voltage range (5-100 VDC) and high output currents (up to 2 amps) allow this device to be used in lighting applications in the industrial, automotive and consumer sectors.

The output current is adjustable via an external resistor and can supply a stable current from a few milliamps up to 2 amps.

The ZSLS7025 delivers a constant current to the LEDs. The control loop has a pulse frequency modulation (PFM) architecture, which is inherently stable and requires no compensation.

This driver supports pulse width modulation “PWM” or analog voltage “dimming”, which allows for flexible control of LED lighting.

The ZSLS7025 incorporates a circuit that protects the system from overvoltage, even when there is no load. This protection circuit can be adjusted via two external resistors.

Finally, this driver has an efficiency greater than 95%, an 8-pin surface mount package and a temperature range of -40 to +85ºC.
