Electronica OLFER, a distributor of MEAN WELL, states that the manufacturer also faces the problem of massive carbon emissions. Manufacturers of electronic products and equipment must subject power supplies to burn-in and aging tests during the production process to eliminate defective products early on.
MEAN WELL has developed a power system for these burn-in tests, which includes the new ERG-5000 (H) series inverters that Electronica OLFER will distribute in Spain and Portugal.
Traditional burn-in tests mostly result in 100% energy loss. When using the system with the ERG-500 (H), the DC power is converted to AC and fed back into the grid, allowing for up to 80% energy recycling. This is a significant contribution to energy savings and carbon emission reduction.

• Energy savings rate of up to 88%.
• Selectable burn-in mode: CC or CV.
• 4 channels combinable with the device application: in series or parallel.

• ERH-5000H input range: 60-420V.
• Built-in CANBus protocol and compatible with CMU2A.
