Eaton's 91PS and 93PS offer efficiency levels above 96% in normal double-conversion mode. With a power factor of 1.0, the 91PS and 93PS deliver 25% more real power than equivalent UPSs, improving energy efficiency.
Eaton's Energy Saver System (ESS) allows Eaton's 91PS and 93PS to achieve efficiency levels of up to 99% and doubles the annual savings potential.
Eaton's 91PS and 93PS series include several features to provide the highest possible availability for critical infrastructure. These include:
• Hot Sync, Eaton's patented load-sharing technology between UPSs, which eliminates any single point of failure in a UPS system operating in parallel.
• Advanced Battery Management (ABM), which enables intelligent charging and extends battery life.
• Scalable, hot-swappable power modules, which can be replaced or added while other modules continue protecting the load, eliminating the need to bypass for simultaneous maintenance or add more power to the system.
• Inherent redundancy that can be achieved with a single unit, eliminating the need for parallel operation.
• Ready for virtualization: The Eaton 91PS and 93PS are compatible with Eaton's Intelligent Power Management (IPM) software, which is used to monitor and manage the UPS as an integral part of power and IT infrastructures.
Both ranges also include features to ensure safe installation and operation, thanks to pre-engineered, tested, and pre-installed safety components, such as backfeed and ultra-fast fuses in the static circuit breaker. This equipment will also reduce installation costs, as no additional equipment will be needed to meet UPS standards requirements.
