The new NetSure platform will include DC power systems, rectifiers, converters, and associated components, which will be introduced throughout 2014 and beyond. All systems are designed to support various deployment types and environments, as well as adapt to evolving network, equipment, and operating conditions.
The first module of the new platform, a high-efficiency 2000W eSure™ rectifier, was launched in mid-2013 and is available globally for use in next-generation NetSure DC power systems. The new rectifier is the most compact 2000W rectifier on the market, reducing the footprint of the systems it supports.
The NetSure 5100, the first DC power system on the new platform, was recently unveiled at the EMEA conference.
Designed specifically for telecom access applications, the NetSure 5100 incorporates three to twelve 2000W eSure rectifiers, delivering system efficiency exceeding 96% and enabling significant energy savings even under low loads and in ECO mode. The system's unparalleled environmental tolerance, streamlined architecture, and intelligent controls and monitoring further enhance the robustness of the industry's most reliable DC power systems.
The NetSure 5100 is available with a standard control unit or an advanced option offering enhanced management capabilities. Software updates and remote monitoring are available via web browsers accessible through various gateways, streamlining deployment, upgrades, and maintenance.
