Both devices include 512 MB of flash memory and 160 KB of SRAM, with the architecture combining high-efficiency signal processing functionality with low cost and ease of use. The MAX32626 is a secure version of the MAX32625, incorporating a Trust Protection Unit (TPU) with advanced security features.

The Maxim Integrated MAX32625/MAX32626 microcontrollers, now available from Mouser Electronics, feature four powerful and flexible ultra-low power modes for use in rechargeable devices. The microcontrollers' built-in dynamic clock lock and firmware-controlled power lock minimize power consumption for any application. Multiple SPI, UART, and I2C serial interfaces, along with Maxim Integrated's 1-Wire master and USB ports, enable interconnection to a wide variety of external sensors. The microcontrollers also feature a 10-bit, four-input analog-to-digital converter (ADC) with two 5.5V loss-tolerant inputs, making them suitable for battery monitoring.

The microcontrollers are compatible with the MAX32625 evaluation kit, which provides a complete and functional system, ideal for developing and debugging applications. The board includes many user-selectable options, as well as onboard peripherals such as a Bluetooth® Low Energy transceiver, OLED display, and LED indicators.

The Maxim MAX32625/MAX32626 microcontrollers are available from Mouser in a 63-ball WLP package with 3.0 mm × 3.9 mm, 0.4 mm pitch, to minimize space requirements.
