Mr. Waite noted, “We have an innovative technology with CircuitSeed. Instead of designing low-power analog circuits that struggle to operate and have a limited frequency range, using CircuitSeed will give us a design with fewer limitations, better performance, high stability, and a wider dynamic range; likewise, this design will reduce the time and cost of testing and manufacturing and supports low-power devices.”
Seed circuits operate at extremely low voltages, 0.1 V, using 100% digital processes. The circuit design is much simpler and does not require matching transistor pairs or current mirrors, and they operate on 40 nm (nanometer) or smaller integrated circuits. In general, the circuits are extremely insensitive to parametric changes, enabling high-precision designs without precision components. These circuits also operate at logic speed and are self-calibrating, typically working over a wide frequency range with high sensitivity and accuracy.
