The ACFL-521xT is optimized for low-power systems and supports data rates up to 1 MBd, and the ACFL-621xT is optimized for high-speed systems and supports data rates up to 15 MBd.
Expanded upon from the previous generation R2Coupler ACPL-KxxT devices, the ACFL-521xT and ACFL-621xT devices feature two optocoupler channels internally aligned 180 degrees to each other, providing the optimal chip connection configuration for bidirectional Tx/Rx data transmission and board design. Furthermore, the electrical circuits of the two channels are independent and isolated by electroplating, thus offering an optimally isolated bidirectional power system communication interface. The devices boast a wide creepage distance of 8 mm, high dielectric isolation voltage (VISO) of up to 5000 VRMS for one minute, and high continuous operating voltage (VIORM) of up to 1140 VPEAK. The devices are housed in a compact SSO-12 package, comparable to the SSO-8 footprint of the previous generation devices.
