Monolitic has added Raystar's OLED alphanumeric and graphic displays to its LCD product range. These OLED displays are mechanically compatible with a number of standard LCD modules. The available models are 1x16, 2x8, 2x12, 2x16, 2x20, and 4x20 in alphanumeric versions, and the resolutions of the graphic models are 50x16, 76x16, 100x8, 100x16, and 100x32. These models are mechanically compatible with the alphanumeric 2x8, 2x12, 1x16, 2x16, 20x20, and 4x20 versions. Several 128x64 dot, 2.4-inch, and 2.7-inch versions are also available.
The main features are the excellent viewing angles they offer, 160º both horizontally and vertically, and their high contrast ratio of up to 2000:1. The operating and storage temperature ranges from -40ºC to +80ºC. The standard color is yellow, with other versions available in blue, white, red, and green. Raystar offers custom design services for alphanumeric displays, graphic displays, 7-segment displays with or without icons, and transparent displays.
