kionix rohm-wThe KX112 is part of Kionix's flagship family of three-axis accelerometers. It's the thinnest 2x2 accelerometer available, measuring just 2 mm x 2 mm x 0.6 mm thick, making it especially well-suited for compact designs in the healthcare, medical, and wearable markets. Notably, despite its ultra-thin, compact design, it's one of the most feature-rich accelerometers available. With 16-bit resolution and excellent stability, it incorporates digital algorithms for motion detection for power management, free-fall detection for device protection or warranty checks, an orientation engine for landscape/portrait detection, and tap/double-tap functionality for the user interface. It also incorporates Kionix's FlexSet technology, allowing for fine-grained tuning to balance power and performance. In particular, the KX112 has the largest FIFO/FILO buffer available in a mass-produced accelerometer. With 2,048 bytes available, the rest of the system can sleep while more data is being recorded than any other accelerometer on the market, allowing for superior power savings and event context.

Features:
• 2x2x0.6mm LGA
• User-selectable g-range and data output rate
• User-selectable 8-bit low or 16-bit high resolution
• Digital high-pass filter outputs
• Built-in 2048-byte FIFO/FILO buffer
• Low power consumption
• Internal voltage regulator
• Integrated touch/double-touch addressable device orientation algorithms
• User-configurable power-on function

The KXCJB is the thinnest accelerometer available in any footprint, measuring just 3 mm x 3 mm x 0.45 mm thick. It supports controllers for the thinnest smartphones, tablets, PCs, and hard drives, as well as compact wearables such as activity trackers and smartwatches. Its unique form factor is half the thickness of most accelerometers on the market. This allows for the integration of motion detection and sensor capabilities into a range of new devices such as ID cards, access cards, and payment/smart cards, while also enabling low-profile mounting on or within glass, plastic, and other thin structures.

Features:
• Ultra-thin at only 0.45 mm
• Low current consumption
• Internal voltage regulator
• 8-bit, 12-bit, and 14-bit resolution
• Supply voltage range: 1.8 V to 3.6 V
• User-selectable ranges: ±2g, ±4g, or ±8g
• I2C digital communication interface
• Integrated functions
• User-configurable motion-activated function
• Programmable interrupt motor
• Self-test function
• RoHS compliant
