Now, the launch of the new SFM 1a1b relay will begin the next phase of the market revolution. With a height of only 7.8 mm and reflow soldering capability, the SFM offers great design possibilities and is ready for future production processes.
Like all Panasonic safety relays in the industry, the SFM offers power contacts on both the NO (6A) and NC (4A) sides to directly control loads such as valves without an intermediate relay. Conversely, the silver alloy contacts can also handle low-level loads down to 10V 1mA, supporting, for example, signaling boards in the railway sector. Very high shock and vibration resistance (≥ 20g), low coil holding power (100mW), an ambient temperature range of -40°C to 85°C, and reinforced insulation (≥ 5.5mm) on the NO side (V = 230V, overvoltage category III, 6KV) contribute to a virtually unlimited range of applications.
