The 1000 V DC operating voltage allows them to meet all the requirements of complex applications. The WPD X01-X03 terminal blocks have a module width of only 17.8 mm for 25 mm² connections.
The new WPD X01–X03 main line branch terminals have passed testing according to IEC 60947-7-1 and DIN VDE 0603-2 standards. Furthermore, to ensure safe use in a wide range of environments, all WPD X01–X03 terminals feature a halogen-free, self-extinguishing plastic housing with a V0 flammability rating according to UL 94 and contact safety in accordance with EN 50247.
The WPD X01-X03 terminal blocks are a highly versatile connection option: whether used with aluminum or copper cables, the clamping mechanism of these new main line branch terminals allows them to be combined to form terminal blocks as needed. Furthermore, they can be used with cable cross-sections ranging from 2.5 mm² to 70 mm².
If two or more WPD X01–X03 terminal blocks are installed, they can be mounted horizontally or vertically on the TS 35 DIN rail when routing the application-specific wiring. The main line branch terminals use highly visible labels for clear equipment identification, ensuring order and safety in the control cabinet.
The following modules or series are available, ranging from one to five poles. 1) Main line branch terminals with a rated current of 152 A: WPD 101 (single pole), WPD 301 (three poles), WPD 401 (four poles), and WPD 501 (five poles). 2) Modules with a rated current of 202 A: WPD 102 (single pole), WPD 202 (two poles), and WPD 302 (three poles). 3) Single-pole module WPD 103 with a rated current of 300 A.
