The ECX FLAT 42 bushless motor is based on the innovative ECX FLAT technology and has been optimized for higher power density. A high-fill-factor winding and segmented magnets give the ECX FLAT 42 exceptional performance. With an impressive rated torque of 214 mNm and a rated speed of 6470 rpm, the ECX FLAT 42 M High Torque sets new benchmarks and surpasses the performance of the EC 45 flat 120W, all in a significantly more compact design (35% shorter).
The standard versions of the ECX FLAT 42 S are attractively priced and offer a more economical alternative to the EC 45 flat (50W). The ECX FLAT 42 M High Torque has the same dimensions but is 60% more powerful.
maxon ECX FLAT 42 modular system
can operate with various controllers. Furthermore, starting in November, it will be possible to combine the brushless motor with an integrated MILE encoder or a GPX42 planetary gearbox, among other options. A version with integrated ESCON control electronics will also be available soon.
Configuration Options:
The ECX FLAT 42 motor offers extensive configuration options, including individual customizations of the front and rear axle ends. The length and width of both axle ends, as well as the front axle surfaces, can be specified. It is also possible to choose between the standard steel flange or an aluminum flange, which allows for better heat dissipation, and to apply custom labeling.
