The SEARAY™ ESCA Series 0.80 mm pitch matrix cable assembly provides 50Ω single-signal routing on 34 AWG micro-flat coaxial cable and supports PCIe® Gen 3 and SAS3 protocols. The cable assembly features a 4:1 signal-to-ground ratio, optional screws, and a minimum cable length of 2 inches. Interconnects are available with 20 or 30 contacts per row in 8- and 10-row configurations.
Both ends of the cable are available in socket and terminal options. SEARAY 0.80 mm (SEAM8/SEAF8 series) cables are available in 2 mm and 5 mm heights for design flexibility and standard lead-free solder charge terminations to simplify IR reflow termination and improve solder reliability.
The robust Edge Rate® contact system increases cycle life and minimizes the effects of side coupling, reducing interference for superior signal integrity and impedance control performance. This rugged contact system is also less prone to damage when "zippering" during decoupling.
