It also meets the international immunity and emissions standards MIL-STD 1275A-D, DEF STAN 59-411, and MIL-STD 461C. It provides active surge protection and, for the entire 200W power range, accepts inputs from 15V to 33VDC, including transients up to 10VDC for 1 second. The output follows the input, stabilizing it up to 36V.
The DSF226 can operate from -46°C to +100°C. A warning output can be used to monitor the final application or disconnect the filter output.
This filter is ideal for use with XP POWER's MTC family of military-grade DC/DC converters, as well as the QSB and ICH families. The DSF226 can also be combined with the 24V J-series 4:1 input ratio converters in a wide range of COTS (Commercial Off-the-Shelf) defense applications.
The DSF226 filters are available from the specialist local distributor VENCO Electrónica SA in Spain and Portugal, as well as from Farnell, element14, and have a 3-year warranty.
