"The ALS60/61 550W aluminum electrolytic capacitors have been designed using the latest electrolyte and laminate technology to meet the high voltage, high ripple current, and long life demands of the electronics industry," says Nick Mason, KEMET Director, Electrolytic Product Management ST & SI.

KEMET continues to offer flexibility through its electrolytic design service, meaning these capacitors can be optimized for a customer's specific application requirements without the need to create a fully customized design.

"These capacitors are ideal for industrial and commercial applications that demand high reliability and long lifespan, such as frequency converters, inverters, UPS systems, switched-mode power supplies, traction, and welding equipment," Mason added.
