The DT series current transducers utilize Danisense's closed-loop compensated Fluxgate technology with fixed excitation frequency and zero flux second harmonic detection for best-in-class accuracy and stability. Other features include excellent linearity (better than 2 ppm), an industry-standard 9-pin DSUB connection, a green LED for normal operation indication, and a large 20.7 mm diameter opening for cables and busbars.
The DT series current transducers are ideal for applications such as high-precision power supplies for laboratories, accelerators, and medical equipment, where size is a key factor, as these power supply designs are becoming increasingly smaller to increase power density and reduce costs. Size is also very important for power measurement applications integrated into automobiles, where placing transducers in a compact motor and inverter environment is always a challenge. The DT series' wide frequency bandwidth is another advantage for these power measurement applications.
