The MLX90360 provides analog or PWM output with fully programmable capabilities to simplify application development. Linear or rotary position detection with direct, point-to-point connection to control electronics and in-circuit programming via connector highlights the value of the MLX90360.
The MLX90363 offers maximum universal flexibility for application development. Designed to be combined with an off-platform microcontroller, the MLX90363 relies on SPI output communication. The range of position sensing applications is virtually limitless, restricted only by the designer's imagination. Implementations in 3D, rotary, linear, or mixed modes can be achieved using the software included with the customer's microcontroller. All raw and conditioned internal signals from the Triaxis IMC (Integrated Magneto Concentrator) sensor can be communicated over the SPI channel. This makes Bx, By, and Bz information directly accessible for processing by the embedded microcontroller. On-chip temperature sensor data and internal chip diagnostics can also be transmitted digitally. Programming is also performed over this same channel.
