The Microsemi Timberwolf audio processor is ideal for today's need for low power consumption, hands-free communications in security cameras, and connected home communications and applications. Field-upgradeable firmware enables remote microphones, beamforming, sound location estimation, acoustic echo cancellation (AEC), noise reduction, and a variety of voice enhancements that deliver clear voice quality in harsh environments.
Microsemi's LX7186A, an efficient switching regulator, and its LX8213, a low-power, fast-response LDO, provide the SF2+ development kit with all the power needed for a variety of applications.
The SF2+ development kit also includes Emcraft Systems' SmartFusion2 SoM, along with Micron memory and Samtec connectors to help evaluate the Microsemi Timberwolf audio processor, and a range of compatible Arduino shields.
