Moventas' 22 GW installed base, service know-how, and multi-brand capabilities will be the lever for further growth in Winergy's service business, resulting in a comprehensive service solution for Wind customers. Moventas' global production and service network adds an additional three gigawatts of wind turbine gearbox assembly capacity, along with extensive field service and gear manufacturing capabilities.

The acquisition is still subject to regulatory approval and is expected to close in the summer of 2022. At that time, it would include the entire scope of Moventas Gears Oy's business with all global production and service facilities.
