The Subcontracting 2021 exhibition area will bring together companies specializing in manufacturing processes such as casting, machining, and the production of molds, models, dies, and other tools, as well as those dedicated to equipment and machinery for casting, welding, steelmaking, forging, and surface treatment. This will ensure representation of everything from the most basic processes to the most advanced technologies, as well as complete manufacturing processes.
This specialized offering will attract international visitors primarily from the automotive, aerospace, machine tool, steel, shipbuilding, oil and gas, energy, rail, and capital goods sectors. The Subcontracting program is aimed at managers, purchasing managers, subcontracting managers, project managers, production managers, and qualified technicians from manufacturing companies across a wide range of sectors, all interested in exploring new markets and reaching new clients.
In 2021, the event will maintain its commercial format from previous editions, combining the exhibition area with large-scale B2B meetings. In this context, one of the main attractions will be the opportunity to participate in the 19th European Subcontracting Meeting, organized by the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, together with the Bilbao Chamber of Commerce and the Bilbao Exhibition Centre, in collaboration with the Spanish Subcontracting Exchange Network. In 2019, during the last edition of the event, more than a thousand meetings took place with buyers from countries such as Germany, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Spain, France, Finland, Switzerland, Italy, Morocco, and Serbia, allowing exhibitors and visitors to establish valuable relationships and formalize concrete business agreements.
