Similarly, plastics are destined to address the challenges facing society, such as those related to environmental sustainability, health, and efficient production; that's why we say they are the materials of the future.
AIMPLAS, the Technological Institute of Plastics, has organized the third edition of its international seminar, Plastics are Future, for October 6th and 7th. This year's seminar will be held in a hybrid format, allowing participants to attend sessions in person or via live stream, and is sponsored by Raorsa.
The event will be structured around four distinct sections. The first two, taking place on the first day, will address how plastic materials can respond to environmental challenges in sectors such as mobility and construction, and how polymers can help us combat super-resistant viruses and bacteria, as well as diseases like cancer. The second day will feature innovative solutions for agricultural production and food safety through packaging, and will conclude with a section dedicated to the new concept of Industry 5.0.
In total, there will be around twenty presentations given by professionals and experts from research centers such as Fraunhofer, Cidetec, UPV, TNO, Imdea, Salut Pública de la Generalitat Valenciana, AEBAM, the University of Warwick, La Fe, Cajamar, Inta and AIMPLAS itself, as well as companies such as Biofabrik, Lis Data and Finboot Tech.
