Highlighted at Yamaha's booth 319 in Hall 4, the YSP10 minimizes the most time-consuming part of the screen printing process with new features for fully automated changeovers. Automatic push-up pin swapping, stencil replacement, and solder paste collection for direct transfer to the new human intervention for stencil cutting are all achieved in a record time. Cycle time is also 20% faster, achieving world-leading contact time, and the expanded maximum standard board size of 510 mm x 510 mm handles large screen backlight panels, industrial boards, and more with ease.
Along with the advanced printer, Yamaha will showcase precision solder paste inspection using the YSi-SP. Patented high-speed algorithms accelerate both 2D and 3D inspection modes, and switchable super-high resolution provides extra accuracy when needed. The YSi-SP captures the data necessary for deeper insights into the printing process, revealing new ways to increase productivity, and integrates seamlessly with other equipment in Yamaha's total line solution to put analysis results into practice.
Next up at the booth, the YSM20R high-speed modular plate builder combines Yamaha's single-head solution, which minimizes reconfiguration stops, with moving component recognition and placement of the latest SMD 0201 chips (0.25 mm x 0.125 mm) to improve capacity and efficiency. Increased structural rigidity allows for higher XY axis speeds, contributing to a 5% increase in throughput compared to the YSM20. Automatic load feeders and an automatic tray sequencer for non-stop tray replacement take full advantage of the YSM20R's superior mounting speed of 95,000 cph.
Bringing it all together, the YSi-V post-placement inspection system boasts the latest features, including a high-definition LCD touchscreen with enhanced navigation for programming and character recognition algorithms for increased ease of use. The 12-megapixel camera combines unmatched performance with exceptional value, consolidating 2D, 3D, and oblique-angle inspection for coplanarity and height into a single cost-effective unit. Also featuring Yamaha's exclusive image capture technology, the YSi-V offers more than double the inspection capacity of ordinary inspection systems.
With the Factory Tools 4.0 software suite, the most comprehensive software solution for Industry 4.0, which completes the digital connection of machines, materials, operators, and methods, Yamaha will demonstrate how its true total line solution meets production demands from entry level, through medium/high volume level, to ultra-mass production.
Engineering and sales experts will be available throughout the event, in Hall 4, Stand 319, from May 7-9, to guide visitors through all of Yamaha's solutions to drive the future of high-tech manufacturing.
