Yamaha's latest YR-series surface mount machines offer enhanced precision and stability, enabling fully automated changeovers for unprecedented speed and efficiency. In the new premium YRP10 printer, automation allows for immediate stencil changes for sustained high throughput and consistent solder paste application. The YRM20 mounter enables seamless carriage and feeder changes, combined with high-speed printing and a flexible printhead selection to maximize throughput. And the YRi-V 3D AOI system, with high-resolution vision, high-speed graphics processing, and AI for improved component recognition, simplifies programming, reduces cycle time, and increases inspection accuracy.
The YRM20DL dual-track plate mounter will be exhibited for the first time in Europe. With the same plate size adjustment range and compatibility with all automated functions on each track, the YRM20DL allows owners to increase throughput, flexibility, and efficiency simultaneously.
A dedicated software area will allow visitors to experience YSUP's latest graphical user interface (GUI) and smart factory tools that ensure optimal performance from YR-Series machines. With user-friendly menus and rich 3D graphics, the YSUP suite helps configure and monitor all line equipment and automatically identifies the root causes of inspection failures to help resolve any issues and restore maximum productivity.
At the Yamaha booth, industrial robots for general assembly tasks will also be on display. Highlighting the flexibility of the LCMR200 workpiece transport solution, the demonstration will show how components can be quickly moved between various assembly processes. These can be performed directly on the LCMR200 guideways using either a SCARA or Cartesian robot. The LCMR200's horizontal and vertical circulation units allow for the construction of 2D and 3D transport networks, providing flexibility to optimize production and customize products while maintaining a compact assembly cell footprint.
"Our next-generation YR surface mount series from the 1 STOP SMART SOLUTION offers exciting opportunities for European high-tech manufacturers, with increased speed, greater precision, and more powerful tools to optimize productivity," says Daisuke Yoshihara, General Manager of Sales. "We are also excited to demonstrate how our robots can automate a variety of assembly and transport tasks to further boost production."
As always, the Yamaha Robotics booth will feature technical experts and sales professionals, ready to showcase Yamaha Intelligent Factory and explain the details. Hall 3, booth 323 at Productronica 2023, November 14-17 in Munich, Germany.
