Efficient KOSTAL inverter and flexible Dyness battery storage system.
The Dyness Tower battery storage system has an IP54 protection rating and a modular design. This allows it to be expanded and adapted to individual needs as required. When combined with the PLENTICORE plus (IP65) or the PLENTICORE BI (IP65), up to five battery modules can be used. Depending on the number of modules, the Tower reaches a height of 70 cm with two modules and up to 130 cm with five modules. Its width is 50.4 cm and its depth is 38 cm.
The operating temperature ranges from 0 to 50 °C. The KOSTAL solar calculator provides an overview of the expected self-sufficiency and self-consumption percentages. You can adjust the battery sizes using a slider to obtain an estimate of the expected energy independence.
Depending on the design, the Dyness Tower's voltage range is between 192 and 480 V. This translates to a charge/discharge capacity of 5 to 10 kW in the battery bank, depending on the model and the number of battery modules. For the PLENTICORE plus 3.0-10, the values range from 2.5 kW to 6.2 kW.
The PLENTICORE series:
The PLENTICORE plus, as a hybrid inverter, is ideal for numerous installation configurations. Connection to the Dyness Tower is simple and convenient. The hybrid inverter has a power output of between 3 and 10 kW and can also achieve higher outputs when operating in a grid connection with two or more units. The PLENTICORE plus dynamically regulates and therefore provides the maximum possible amount of self-generated power at the right time.
The PLENTICORE BI inverter charger is also a power source and is available in 5.5 and 10 kW power classes, with an input current of 26 A.
