Bornay now has RiiO Sun II units available for distribution. This is TBB's new all-in-one multifunction inverter for off-grid applications: ESS and self-consumption. It combines a pure sine wave inverter, a battery charger, an MPPT solar charge controller, and a high-speed automatic transfer relay. All of this is housed in a compact enclosure with an improved display and user interface.
The RiiO Sun II offers higher photovoltaic open-circuit voltage, increased power and photovoltaic charging current, and the ability to operate up to nine units in parallel and three-phase configurations to achieve a maximum power output of up to 54 kVA.
Optionally, it is possible to operate without batteries and use only solar energy to directly power the loads.
The versatility of this equipment allows you to start with an integrated system or a smaller solution and gradually expand according to the needs and budget of each installation.
The 5 kVA and 6 kVA models are also equipped with programmable smart ports for generator input to load management. The RiiO Sun II also supports AC-Coupling functionality with energy injection at the AC input to maximize self-consumption.
The RiiO Sun II features AGS, Power Assist, and Power Control functions that enable operation with limited AC sources, such as generators or the electrical grid, where the RiiO Sun II can automatically adjust its charging current based on AC power limitations or synchronize to temporarily increase peak power.
