Dedicated to fostering a more human-centered lighting environment, the MEAN WELL DLC-02 digital lighting controller with DALI-2, distributed in Spain and Portugal by Electrónica OLFER, offers end users a wider range of applications and configurable settings. Specifically, the R2.4 software interfaces and product functions of the following components have been optimized:
The popularization of IoT and wireless communication technology has enabled the development and cost reduction of radio frequency modules and their application in other fields. This article will discuss the advantages of wireless lighting control compared to traditional wired bus control (0-10V, DALI, KNX, etc.) and will examine the practical results obtained in a real-world installation budget.
The XLG series, manufactured by MEAN WELL and distributed in Spain and Portugal by Electrónica OLFER, complies with the latest safety standards. Its dimming design covers all constant current and constant voltage applications. This series can be used with general constant current luminaires such as streetlights, spotlights, or LED strips operating at constant voltages of 12V/24V/48V. These devices feature IP67 protection and 3-in-1 dimming functions.
Mouser now has the ams OSRAM TO56 PLT5 522FA_P Metal Can® green laser diode in stock. This green laser diode produces a typical emission wavelength of 514 nm (±1 nm) with an optical output power of 50 mW. Featuring thermally stabilized optics in a hermetically sealed TO56 Metal Can package with a diameter of 5.6 mm, the PLT5 522FA_P green laser diode offers high modulation bandwidth in a single-mode semiconductor laser for reliable, maintenance-free operation.
Casambi has announced the launch of three new product variants – CBU-TED-LR, CBU-ASD-LR, and Casambi Xpress-LR – to offer long-range radio modes for robust wireless communication in large spaces, outdoor applications, and certain complex lighting installations.
In 2022, Casambi introduced a new chip, the CBM-003, which enables new radio modes and extended ranges of up to approximately 200 meters in real-world applications.
New from OMC, a pioneer in optoelectronics design and manufacturing, Dual Status Profiled Backlights™ combine two emitter colors into a single profiled backlight, allowing designers to use the single backlight source to indicate status with great clarity, instead of a single-color backlight that is simply on or off.
The SLD series are flat linear LED drivers that have been on the market for over three years and have earned customer trust, with steadily increasing popularity and sales.
Following this positive reception, MEAN WELL (manufacturer and supplier of OLFER Electronics) presents a new model, the SLD-150. These LED drivers maintain the flat, linear design of their predecessors (SLD-50/80 series), but increase the total power to 150W.
Most of us are now quite familiar with Near Field Communication (NFC), which enables contactless data exchange between nearby devices. Its main characteristics include being a short-range (up to 20 cm) wireless communication system that operates at a high frequency (13.56 MHz) and is derived from Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology.
Legrand expands its range of emergency and security lighting fixtures with two new lines, URA NEXT and URA SPOT PRO, manufactured in Spain. They are easy to install and versatile, integrating seamlessly into any environment or project type. They meet the company's highest quality standards and are certified with the AENOR N mark.
Mouser now has OSLON Black Flat X LED devices from ams OSRAM in stock. The OSLON Black Flat X LEDs, with 3 KW3 HNL631TK chips, are light-emitting diodes that provide 1350 lm at 1000 mA. The geometry of these LED boards offers excellent thermal performance, allowing developers to reduce the size of the heat dissipation in their lighting designs.
From OLFER Electronics, we present the new CAS-24V-ZHAGA-4P-80-DA-LX, which replaces the previous version, the CAS-24V-ZHAGA-4P-80-DA. This new model includes a light sensor and new features to enhance the user experience.
The main change in this new device is that the Smart Switching function has been disabled, as its compatibility with all types of 24V auxiliary power supplies cannot be guaranteed.
