These latest versions of Actel's comprehensive toolset also offer essential new features for SmartFusion™ mixed-signal intelligent FPGAs and RTAX-DSP FPGAs.
Enhancements include:

- Support for 32-bit and 64-bit (x64) Windows 7 operating systems and a USB driver for x64 support for Vista and Windows 7 with the FlashPro3 and FlashPro4 programmers. Libero IDE v9.0 SP1 and SP2 also offer, for the first time, support for the Red Hat Linux operating system for designing with SmartFusion FPGAs.
- Enhanced SmartFusion device features such as a Fabric Clock Conditioning Configurator (Fab_CCC) for fabrication and programming of the SmartFusion A2F500 device. Fab_CCC provides support for the secondary PLL/CCC available on the A2F500 device.
Support for programming with the radiation-resistant, four-million-gate RTAX4000D spaceflight DSP, which incorporates radiation-resistant multiplier-accumulator embedded blocks, is now available in the proven and reliable RTAX-S product family, a market standard.
