mouser-analog-devices ad9625-12-bit-adc-wThe new AD9652-310EBZ ADC from Analog Devices, available from Mouser Electronics, is essential for designing with the AD9652 ADC, which is designed to meet the demands of high-speed signal sampling applications requiring exceptional dynamic range across a wide frequency spectrum. The AD9652 can sample signals as fast as 465 MHz. Analog signals are first fed into a dual front-end sampling and buffering circuit. The signal then enters a capacitor-switched ADC. This unique architecture combines the accuracy of a pipeline converter with the stability and performance of sampling and buffering. The AD9652 features digital processing blocks to continuously monitor and correct internal errors that occur at any stage of the signal, ensuring consistent performance under varying operating conditions.
An on-chip buffer and amplifier simplify board design by reducing the number of external components. On-chip dithering improves the accuracy of the AD9652 ADC by reducing signal distortion that can occur due to input signal amplification. An SPI interface allows configuration of many ADC options, including shutdown modes, input impedance in the termination buffer, selection of internal or external voltage references, and enabling an internal temperature sensor.
Interfaces from the AD9652-310EBZ evaluation board to the HSC-ADC-EVALCZ high-speed data acquisition board are also available from Mouser Electronics.
Target applications for the AD9652 include communications systems and instrumentation, radar receivers, secure communications systems, smart antennas, and high-speed data acquisition systems.
