The Cyclone V SoCs integrate a dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 MPCore™ processor within a 28nm FPGA. Engineers using Altera SoCs can reduce power consumption, board space, and costs in their embedded systems while simultaneously increasing overall system performance. Arrow is showcasing the latest SoC design tools and techniques through a series of hands-on courses based on its new Altera SoC evaluation kit.
Altera SoCs allow embedded system developers to differentiate their final product with custom hardware and software, as well as extend the product lifecycle through hardware and software upgrades. It comes with a user manual/quick start guide, USB cables, and power cables.
Arrow has launched a series of global hands-on courses starting May 14, 2013, to provide the latest design tools and techniques for FPGA SoC design, as well as training for the new Altera Embedded Design Suite, which includes the DS-5 ARM Edition toolkit. Registration includes an Arrow SoCKIT.
