This comprehensive development kit comes with everything developers need to evaluate the hardware and develop code directly.
The C8051F85x/6x family features an enhanced, high-efficiency 8051 pipeline architecture with 2 to 8 kB of flash memory, 256/512 bytes of RAM, a 12-bit multi-channel analog-to-digital converter (ADC), a precise internal voltage reference, two analog comparators with programmable hysteresis and response time, a wide operating temperature range (up to 125°C), and a range of communication peripherals (SMBus/I2C, SPI, UART). Additional features include:
• C8051F850 MCU board
• Universal wall-mountable power supply
• USB cable and debug adapter
• C8051F850 Kit Quick Start Guide
• Development Kit CD.
A host PC is required to run the development kit software and to communicate with the debug adapter. The PC must be running Windows 2000 or later and have an available USB port.
Since the MCU has built-in debugging capabilities, it can be installed in the final application. The kit supports the following debugging features: Run, single step, and stop; hardware breakpoint configuration; memory and register inspection/modification; and program memory dump.
