It takes the core elements of modular, object-oriented design, adds the flexibility to use a real-time operating system or work without one, and provides an environment of easy-to-use software modules, configurable to the requirements of each design and specifically designed to work together. New features in this version include the MPLAB Harmony Configurator for quick and easy driver and middleware configuration, management of a fully compliant and professional graphics library, and significant functional and performance enhancements for many of the Harmony driver libraries.
