The module's white LED backlighting contributes to excellent image uniformity and provides a brightness of 550 nits with an average brightness life of 40,000 hours. A 600:1 contrast ratio ensures clear and bright images.
Ideal for applications in high-brightness environments where backlight life is not a critical requirement, the user has direct access to the LED backlight driver circuit. By controlling the LEDs with a current of 20 mA, a brightness of 900 nits can be achieved. This will reduce the average backlight brightness life to typically 20,000 hours.
The module measures 189 mm x 120 mm x 7.5 mm and weighs 170 g. An LVDS data interface supports a palette of up to 262k colors. The operating temperature range is -20 °C to +70 °C.
