They are offered in two light output ranges with a minimum color rendering index (CRI) of 80: the Luxeon 2835C for higher efficacy and an industry-leading 240mA maximum current, available in 3V and 6V options, and the Luxeon 2835E for cost-effective matched lamp designs, also available in 6V and 9V options. The Luxeon 2835C 3V is available in a 4000K neutral white version producing 58 lumens at 156 lm/W, and a 3000K warm white version producing 54 lumens at 145 lm/W when driven at 120 mA. The Luxeon 2835C 6V is available in a 4000K version that produces 113 lumens at 152 lm/W. The 2700K version produces 103 lumens at 138 lm/W when driven at 120 mA. The Luxeon 2835E 9V is soft white (2700K) and produces 72 lumens at 129 lm/W, and the Luxeon 2835E 6V versions produce either 49 lumens at 132 lm/W (3000K) or 48 lumens at 129 lm/W (2700K) when driven at 60 mA. All Luxeon 2835 LEDs can be driven at twice these reference excitation currents to achieve even higher luminous flux and the use of fewer LEDs per bulb.
        
Forward voltage and luminous flux are matched at a junction temperature of 25 degrees Celsius, while color temperature is achieved at 85 degrees Celsius, with the exception of the Luxeon 2835C 3V, which is targeted at a junction temperature of 25 degrees Celsius. Lumileds' Luxeon 2835 LEDs are available through Mouser Electronics in an industry-standard 2.8 mm x 3.5 mm surface-mount package and are targeted at a wide range of general-purpose lighting applications, including tailored lamps, indoor lighting, and linear fixtures.
