The RTCC TR-8105 is a high-precision RTCC with ±3.4ppm accuracy over a wide temperature range of -40ºC to 85ºC and includes alarm functions, cyclic interruption, and compensated clock frequencies of 37.768 KHz, 1024 Hz, and 1Hz.
The great advantage of this RTCC with integrated crystal is its accuracy under temperature variations.
As we can see in the image, the variation of an uncompensated crystal is very large (±30ppm) over a small temperature change, while the TR-8105 maintains its stability over a much wider temperature range.
