Amphenol FCI Connectors, RotaConnect Range
RS Components (RS), a trading brand of Electrocomponents plc, distributes new connectors from Amphenol FCI.
RS offers these products after Amphenol acquired the FCI brand in June 2016, and the merged brand was renamed Amphenol FCI or AFCI. This transaction has strengthened AFCI's position as an international supplier in the telecommunications, data communications, data storage, server, consumer electronics, industrial, automotive, medical equipment, instrumentation, and renewable energy markets.
Among the new products, the RotaConnect SMT connector range stands out, simplifying installation.
The RotaConnect range has a rotating design that allows attachment at any angle between +90° and -60°, so they can be placed anywhere on a plate.
Typical applications for RotaConnect include control panels, sensors, actuators, rigid LED strips, automotive lighting, signage, and luminaires. RS distributes AFCI's most popular products, including the new RotaConnect range.
