The G2RL, G5Q, and G5NB relays are now available in models with pulse-width modulation (PWM) of the coil current, thus reducing the duty cycle and therefore the average current. This decreases power consumption and consequently the heat generated in the relay, improving efficiency and reducing thermal load, especially in applications using many relays.

The high-capacity G2RL-PW1 16A relay is a low-profile power relay with a height of only 15.7 mm, notable for its coil consumption of just 120 mW compared to 400 mW in the standard version. The SPDT G5Q-PW, a miniature power relay with a switching capacity of 10 A, is characterized by a coil consumption of only 36 mW in the PWM version compared to 400 mW in the standard version. The G5NB-PW, an efficient 3A/5A single-contact relay capable of withstanding 10kV voltage spikes, offers the lowest coil consumption, at only 32mW compared to the already efficient 200mW of the standard model. All three families are optionally available in versions compliant with IEC/EN 60335-1.
