sensor-adi-ada4571-wThe ADA4571 magnetoresistive sensor has been specifically designed to measure motor position in brushless direct current (BLDC) motors and reduce noise, while meeting environmental and energy requirements.

This integrated circuit, based on AMR technology, offers non-contact angular measurement with a maximum error of 0.5 degrees. A position feedback loop enables speed and torque control in a wide range of BLDC motor control applications.

Furthermore, this new magnetoresistive sensor for motor control supports motor operation up to 50,000 rpm and, thanks to angular measurement, helps to minimize noise and vibration that can degrade DC motor performance.

In ruggedized applications, such as industrial servomotors, factory robotics and electric power steering (EPS), the new model provides a fast response that improves efficiency, reduces emissions and heat and thus helps to extend the operating life of the system.

The combination of Analog Devices' AMR and signal conditioning technologies ensures accuracy even in noisy environments. Low operating temperature and lifetime drift performance eliminate the need for calibration.
Key technical features of this magnetoresistive sensor for motor control.

The ADA4571 operates in a temperature range of -40 to +150 °C and requires a supply voltage of 2.7 to 5.5 V with a current draw of 6.5 mA. The "Sleep" mode is useful in low-power systems. The sensor also supports advanced diagnostic functions for safety-critical applications.
