Sanyo Denki Stepper MotorsThe new two-phase stepper motors, which are aimed at machine builders and manufacturers of scientific and medical instruments, are available with unipolar or bipolar windings, along with a whole range of micro-stepping DC drivers.

Sanyo Denki stepper motors are typically used to precisely control moving parts on the X and Y axes of a machine, and are used extensively in many motion control applications, such as controlling industrial inkjet printers and labeling machinery, or using scientific measuring instruments and medical instrumentation used for blood and DNA analysis.

Key devices in the range include the ultra-thin 42 mm SS2421-5041 stepper motor, designed for space-constrained applications and offering a highly compact stepper system in a form factor only 11.6 mm deep; and the 14 mm frame-sized SH2141-5541, a miniature frame-mounted motor only 30 mm deep. New 56 mm motors with IP65 protection, such as the SP2566-5160, are ideal for harsh environments with dust and water, such as food processing machinery and equipment designed for outdoor operation.
