Robust DIP switch with gold contacts
With the new WS-DITU, Würth Elektronik eiSos now offers an improved DIP switch in its product range: gold plating ensures stable contact resistance. It also boasts high durability and is resistant to pin deformation. Its unique design guarantees the required 2.54 mm contact spacing.
DIP switches are used in any application where basic adjustments are needed because they mount directly to the PCB. The WS-DITU DIP switch is installed with simple manual assembly and is available in 2- to 10-pole configurations. The insulating material has a UL94 V-0 flammability rating and an operating temperature range of -40 to +85 °C. The rated current is 25 mA, and the dielectric strength is 500 V. The contact resistance is only 50 mΩ.
The WS-DITU design is protected by patent law in many countries.
