The MINAS A7 motors and drives improve equipment performance and simplify installation and operation. Thanks to integrated AI, the servo system can even automate tasks in areas where experts would otherwise spend time manually adjusting machines due to the unsatisfactory performance of conventional automatic adjustment functions. The product also achieves the highest level of motion performance in the industry with a 27-bit encoder resolution and 134,217,728 pulses per second in the servo motor. The frequency response, which indicates the control performance of the servo amplifiers, reaches an industry-leading 4.0 kHz or higher. Furthermore, the servo motor achieves a maximum rotation speed of 7150 rpm, contributing to shorter cycle times. The MINAS A7 impresses with its compact, space-saving design, resulting in increased cost-effectiveness. Last but not least, MINAS A7 servo drives are backward compatible with MINAS A6 devices. They are 1:1 interchangeable thanks to the same interfaces and flange size.

Philipp Zebisch, Product Manager at Panasonic Industry, comments: “Our new MINAS A7 servo drive family ensures extremely stable operation and a longer service life for machine components, thanks to online monitoring tools. With the development of the MINAS A7 series, we have achieved optimal human-machine interaction through its highly intelligent automation and monitoring capabilities. These drives reduce installation time and maintenance costs, and guarantee maximum quality and processing speed in numerous applications, such as CNC or cutting machines, plastic injection molding machines, presses, tube bending machines, packaging, and injection molding machines.”
