“This range incorporates the contact chamber within the body of the push button or mushroom button. This allows for quick and easy assembly, making them a very valid option for introducing new push buttons into a machine, or for installing them on profiles using the accessories also available from SCHLEGEL,” comments Ibón Rivas, technical director of Kolbi Electrónica.
The contacts are integrated inside the push button, so each of the four pins on the M12 connector has a different function, all within a single unit.
Several versions are available in terms of push button material (gray, black, or AISI 304 stainless steel), push button illumination color, and button markings. These mushroom-shaped buttons and push buttons comply with DIN EN ISO 13850 / DIN EN 60947-5-5 / DIN EN 60947-5-1 standards; they have IP65 / IP67 protection ratings for both the front and back and can operate from -25 to 70°C. Operating voltages are rated up to 35V.
