The transformers in this series have been calculated and designed according to the strictest technical criteria, and tested using the latest technologies. They are primarily used to adjust the voltage level from the distribution network to meet the requirements of various applications, including industrial, commercial, and residential.
They are also used for electrical isolation to power devices requiring circuit separation, as well as to provide a safety voltage in locations where it is needed. The IT M series transformers are highly versatile thanks to their dual or triple primary voltage and dual secondary voltage, which is achieved by selecting between series or parallel connection using the included metal jumpers.
To meet the requirements of installations of very varied types and to be used in different types of industry, the new Salicru transformers have control, command, isolation and safety functionalities.
Another novel element is that they can supply a large instantaneous power that allows for the correct magnetization of the coils of contactors, relays, protection devices, and other commonly used devices
in the panels. For this reason, they are widely used in the construction of electrical panels due to their compact size and ease of fixing, as well as the flexibility offered by having several voltage outlets.
