Thermal and current shutdown protection features. The APE8800A-HF-3 positive linear regulators have a very low quiescent current, around 30µA, output voltage accuracy of ±2%, and can supply a guaranteed output current of 300 mA with a voltage drop of only 250 mV.
The APE8800A-HF-3 regulators are capable of operating with low-ESR ceramic output capacitors, as low as 1µF, for stability. In addition to current limit protection, the APE8800A-HF-3 also offers a built-in, specified thermal shutdown function.
The new regulators are available with various fixed output voltages from 1.2V to 5V, and are encapsulated in a low-profile, space-saving package, are RoHS/REACH compliant, halogen-free, 5-lead SOT-23-5 and TSOT-23-5.
