The new Corcom SB Series of power line filters is an improved version of the well-known Corcom B Series filters, offering significantly superior common-mode and differential-mode performance. Their very compact height of only 1.53 inches (38.86 mm) makes the SB Series filters among the smallest power line filters on the market, ideal for space-constrained applications in industrial machinery. Thanks to their very compact height, the 30A version, for example, is half the size of other 30A filters.

The SB Series filters can also be used as scrubbing filters in a wide variety of electronic applications (e.g., TV/audio/video equipment, computers and accessories, household appliances, medical equipment, gaming consoles, and fitness equipment) across various industries (e.g., household appliances, lighting, data centers, communications, energy, automotive, medical, aerospace, defense, and marine). The devices meet current UL, CSA, and VDE requirements and offer excellent insertion loss performance as well as a 250 VDC rated voltage.

Technical specifications for the SB series filters include a current rating of 6A to 30A, an operating frequency of 50/60Hz, and an operating temperature range of -10 to +40°C. Low leakage versions are also available that meet current VDE requirements for portable equipment and UL544 for non-patient medical equipment.
