The PLT10HH series is ideal for suppressing noise from the numerous electrical accessories (pumps, air conditioning, power steering, brakes, etc.) used in electric vehicles, hybrid electric vehicles, and other fuel-efficient vehicles. The diverse motors commonly used in these vehicles generate electromagnetic noise as they rotate, and this noise must be reduced to prevent it from negatively impacting onboard electronic equipment. Furthermore, common-mode choke coils are also used in circuits such as DC-DC converters and charging circuits to reduce noise originating from leakage in the power lines to each component.

 

The new family comprises four models. The PLT10HH1026R0PN and PLT10HH9016R0PN have a rated current of 6 A Acc and typical common-mode impedances at 10 MHz of 1000 Ω and 900 Ω respectively (minimum common-mode inductance of 20 mH and 14 mH respectively). The PLT10HH501100PN and PLT10HH401100PN have a rated current of 10 A Acc, with typical common-mode impedances at 10 MHz of 500 Ω and 400 Ω respectively (minimum common-mode inductance of 9 mH and 6 mH respectively).
All models in the PLT10HH series have a rated voltage of 100 VDC.
