The new Omron C3AW is designed for brushless DC applications, such as industrial equipment, cordless DC power tools, and gardening tools, and offers a robust and compact solution. Rated at 10mA and 42VDC, the C3AW boasts IEC IP6x dust resistance thanks to its hermetically sealed rubber cover over moving parts and an ultrasonically welded connection between the housings. It can withstand shocks of up to 3000 m/s² and vibrations of up to 200 m/s², experiencing a maximum chatter of 100µs at the highest shock level.
 
Measuring just 25mm wide by 13.5mm deep and 28.5mm high, the C3AW has a minimum lifespan of 300,000 operations and can be used in temperatures ranging from -20 to +65°C.
