To further enhance product quality and meet growing market demands, despite a 10% to 30% increase in production costs, PCBWay has decided to upgrade its 2-layer PCBs (order sizes >=3m²) and 4-layer or larger PCBs, switching from the previously used Kingboard material to Shengyi material. Furthermore, this upgrade will be provided to customers free of charge.
Update:
The base material for 2-layer PCBs (area orders >=3m²) will be automatically upgraded to S1000H TG150 material.
The original TG150 KB6165F material will be completely replaced by Shengyi's S1000H material.
The TG170 KB6167F material will also be replaced by Shengyi's S1000-2M material.
The new ShengYi material is particularly well-suited for high-tech applications requiring exceptional stability and durability, and is distinguished by its high thermal resistance. This allows PCBs to withstand extreme temperatures without compromising their integrity, a crucial feature for devices operating in demanding environments or subject to constant temperature fluctuations.
